I don’t think you should be proactive about learning. This is one of the rare times I think it’s better to be reactive. Otherwise, you don’t truly know what you need to learn, and you end up wasting a ton of time and energy on lessons that don’t apply. When the project demands a skill you don’t have, by all means, watch a tutorial or buy a course.
