The crucifixion of Christ always sounds like his death was faked

He was up there for a few hours before being taken down where most people die after days.

Rome didn’t wanna kill him. They wanted to set him free. They gave him an ass whooping and asked the crowd if that was good enough.

Christians like to say that that ass kicking is what really did him in so fast.

It sounds like they took him down, said he was dead and then poof. wasn’t dead.
