Generating 24 hours of work for a computer attached to a team of agents to perform without intervention, feels much like preparing to onboard, train and direct the work of a new hire.
You know the work to be done exists, but filling 24 consecutive hours with said work is difficult.
Moreover, when the agent doing the work is more capable than most any person you’ve ever hired, the task becomes even more challenging, if not also more exciting.
Point is, the act of orchestrating 24/7/365 work across teams of agents is the most game changing opportunity we’ve ever seen for companies, teams and founders, but there is a learning curve to the process and a new set of intellectual and operating muscles that must be developed to make it all happen.
I’d close by adding that the systems level thinking, inherent to my many engineering friends, is immensely valuable relative to all of this.
So if you’re an engineer, I wouldn’t worry.
