It’s funny to see the Sam Adler-Bell / John Ganz layer of left-wing urban intellectuals turn on figures like Platner and Talarico. “I don’t entirely trust him” was essentially the same vague vibes-based take Sam and Matt had on Talarico.

Can an adventurer be a good guy to have on your side? Sure, at least they are not cowards. But I don’t entirely trust him. Maybe, because he’s certainly lying about the tattoo.
