Panga ya Saidi, Kenya, is an archaeological site with evidence of human activity going back 78,000 years or more. The site is situated around 15 km from the Indian Ocean coast in a tropical karstic landscape. Deep within the Middle Stone Age layers, archaeologists found the partial skeleton of a young child, interpreted as a burial.
