My heart is strangely warmed! It has seemed right to me lately that the contemplative church - through the many modes you described so well - is the one that emits a life giving fragrance to the world as she moves past faith as a construct of the mind (ego project) to one grounded in kenotic authenticity of many hearts on mission, which is a reflection of the very nature of God. The resulting continuous conversion of the contemplative Christian/community is a witness itself of humility, forgiveness, and grace even beyond charity.
