The Bible isn’t the basis of what it means for the Church to be the Church. Irrelevant.

The Church is sacramental organism, therefore its unity must be sacramental. If, like you assert without proof, that the Church’s sacraments are only effective for those in communion with the Pope, you have effectively turned the Church into a human organization, with its unity dependent upon administrative structures rather than the sacramental office of the episcopate.
