The only "inaccuracy" in the confected row about the BBC's Gaza film is the continuing lie that the young narrator is "the son of an official in the militant group Hamas".

No, he's the son of a scientist who directed agricultural policy in Gaza's government, which is run by Hamas. There's zero evidence that Ayman Alyazouri was ever a member of the militant wing of Hamas. He doesn't even appear to have been a member of its political wing.

So why does the BBC keep repeating this completely false claim?
