I just sent the manuscript for my next book, Dear Student: Letters on Life and Learning in College, to the publisher, Princeton University Press. I even got it in a few days early! I think this book is very much needed and has a chance to help many students see how college can change their lives. (For the better! For the better.)

Turning in the manuscript does not mean the work is “done” (there will be several more rounds of edits) or that it will be published soon (no one knows that yet). But it does mean my work for the last ten months has reached a major milestone. I’m proud of what I’ve done.
