Mitch,
Thank you.
This is a question I have struggled with for many years.
It is particularly applicable to the work I have been doing in the Resistance.
As the Chair of the Amicus Committee for the Lawyers For the Rule of Law, Dan Arshack, President, I have been engaged in fighting the DOJ's efforts across the U.S. to advance Trump's agenda through false and misleading statements in court and outright disobedience to court orders.
But, to those who may be discouraged by the findings discussed, it is vitally important to state the truth whenever and wherever you have the chance. Not to change the hearts and minds of diehard, MAGA ideologues, but to educate the majority of Americans when they are confronted with lies. It is not possible to effectively confront lies unless you can respond with the truth. That is why Mitch's post is so helpful. Just don't bank the truth, spend it.
FYI, I will be refiling my Complaint against former AG Pamela Joe Bondi with The Florida Bar before June. The complaint details the attack on the rule of law she initiated and employed in her efforts to corrupt the DOJ and make it into a tool for the President. Bondi no longer has her status as a constitutional officer to hide behind. I will publish the entire complaint in my Substack, Legally Speaking, after it is filed.
