Something challenging/frustrating
Nostalgic memory
Accomplishment
Want or need
Potential threat
Random fact
The important part is that these should not be edited, and should be captured as quickly as possible after the thought or feeling. Share/store it raw, and let AI synthesize the patterns and reflect back to you in due time.
No memory is “too insignificant”; no frustration is “too stupid”, no accomplishment is “too small”.
I have learned, in the last two years, to capture all of my random thoughts with the intention that Jon Mick does, because I constantly surprise myself how a random, throwaway thought in month 1 can percolate unnoticed and suddenly arrive as a fully-formed book idea in month X.
