***SPOT THE AI EXERCISE #2***

[I spent approximately 10 hours drafting my last article. Then, using my chat sessions, previous drafts, and life model as context, I generated ten Substack Notes. The goal for me is to format my content as digestable chunks for my readers. The goal for you is to call out the AI-generated phrases, terms, and sentence structures to help us neurodivergent writers out. Go ahead, roast me!]

Something that sounds like an excuse until you understand the mechanism: some hard tasks are easier for me than easy ones.

A complex, high-stakes project with genuine intellectual demand can pull me into six hours of unbroken focus. An expense report can defeat me for a week.

Difficulty is the wrong axis. What matters is whether the task generates enough signal to hold attention against the noise. An under-stimulating task leaves the system hunting for input, and a hunting system looks exactly like a distracted one.

Which is why "just start with something small and easy" has never once worked on me, and why the largest thing on the list is often the correct place to begin.
