It’s on WhatsApp, even though I absolutely do not want “homework help” or “relationship advice” from my messaging app. It’s in seemingly every new device on the market today; the chatbots that stand between you and the company you’re trying to complain to; the booths fast food companies now make you use to order your food. In the year of our lord 2026, it is everywhere. And it doesn’t work.
