Another comment:

I believe that the success we seek depends on building the counter-narrative to the ‘narrative ecosystem’ that the right wing has built and that dominates our overall national ‘narrative climate.’

We are, for the most part, a nation of fair-minded people. Belief in ‘fair play’ and ‘common decency’ is widespread. We need to do a much better job of telling the ‘story’ of the lack of decency and fair play that are not just offensive in the particulars, but that are corrupting the very fabric of our communities and our lives.

I wish more of our ‘resistance’ could see the parallels between criticism of relying on aerial bombing campaigns in warfare to the analogues of that in our resistance. We have a great high-level ‘bombing’ campaign. What we have neglected, even as it spontaneously is stirring, is the ground game.
