The chatbot-to-agent shift felt abstract until I watched my own setup evolve. Started with ask-AI-get-answer workflows. Then wired Claude Code into overnight builds. Now I wake up to deployed apps, git commits, social posts - work that happened while I slept. The interface disappeared entirely. That's the real tell that we've crossed into something different. Chatbots needed you present to prompt them.
