Calling out the "AI engineer in 3 months" myth is overdue. The shortcuts being sold right now are producing a cohort who can prompt but can't debug, who can scaffold an app but can't reason about why it's failing.
The software engineering fundamentals section here is what I'd argue schools and bootcamps should be doubling down on - not because AI won't write code, but because evaluating whether the code is actually correct still requires a human who understands what correct means.
