Digital Thoughts hit 1,000 subscribers yesterday.

Three years ago I posted about whether ChatGPT-4 could run a small business. The context window was 4,000 tokens.

I was hacking together memory systems by hand, automating it via Zapier, and honestly just seeing what would break.

A lot broke. Some things worked. I kept going. Since then the newsletter became a lab notebook. Local models on a MacBook. Building my own AI agent that self-improves every night. Vibe coding apps. Honest experiments with what AI can and can't do. Education. The future of white-collar work. All of it.
