Who am I and what is my newsletter ‘Fanshift’ about? I spent 20 years managing and scaling kids IP, first in broadcast and then across digital platforms like YouTube and Roblox. Working in kids media gives you a future mindset because their consumption habits are a bellwether for other industries grappling with how to engage and retain digital-natives but also how their habits will necessitate business models evolving too.

I pivoted to Sport 18 months ago because I’m passionate about it, and can clearly see the headwinds facing sports media and rights holders that, frankly, could benefit from a fresh perspective of someone from an adjacent yet relevant sector.

Ngl, it’s not easy. I’ve had successes but a few knock backs and work is sporadic, but I’m persistent.
