Make money doing the work you believe in

I’ve celebrated Bloomsday in Dublin and Trieste, but next year, or the year after, I must get along to Szombathely in western Hungary. Its Bloomsday, usually held around June 12–16, began in 1994 and has become a city tradition, built around the Joycean claim that Leopold Bloom’s father, Rudolf Virág, came from there.

A couple of days in Budapest or Vienna, then about three hours by train into the Hungarian west. Even better now that Orbán is no longer waiting at the end of the line like a nationalist credentials inspector.
