If I’m reading this right, the current data is that a $2M budget game (not unreasonable) priced at $40 would possibly require a whopping 250,000 wishlists to break even on week 1, and possibly only return it’s budget in profit (after taxes, platform cuts, and sales) for the next game after 3 years?
No wonder publishers and devs are dropping like flies.
