Good thoughts here. My thought? I think Christian’s are misapplying verses about keeping ourselves unstained by the world or in the world but not of it. The scriptures are referring to systems of acting and thinking no physical removal of ourselves. For salt & light to be useful they have to be in contact/proximity.
