I’m going to say something that shouldn’t be controversial but will be. If you are a Christian, you can support border control and immigration being legal vs illegal. You CANNOT celebrate deportations and get off on the cruelty, and be a real Christ follower. Period

i walked through the first one and i really enjoyed them. both of them via helsinki. i hit stanford's and then google / microsoft a bit later as i started building some stuff. the udemy courses were nice alternatives but i didn't finish most of those. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ah! Curious as to your reasons?
I was distracted with it. Couldn’t focus. It was a tough decision because I learned so much on X, yet it didn’t help me prioritize my time the way I wanted. Since leaving I’ve seen the increase in my focus levels and feel an improvement in accomplishing my life/work.
I really respect this. I only (re)booted an old Twitter / X account because I started writing but I refuse to use any others at this point, mostly because I do not have the bandwidth to monitor and manage multiple social platforms.
I personally believe that I can reach the goals that I have for my writing without having to be on all of them but perhaps that's a bit naïve. I hope I'm not wrong!
I appreciate the input. I think when used as a tool it’s great. Also what might work for others might not work for me is how I look at it. Glad to see you continuing to pursue your writing goals, starting with this newsletter here.
