As far as the job hopping I don’t know many people that would pass up $100 million. There may also be a lot of internal politics that we don’t know about and if another company promised them more say / control that would be a good reason to switch. Corporate loyalty was lost decades ago on both sites so it’s generally acceptable to leave to a competitor. I agree with the rest this is all driven by capitalism and shareholder demands for more insane profits. They are going to milk it dry before it implodes.
