When a Speaker forgets who he serves, the Constitution remembers.

Under House Rule IX, any member may file a Motion to Vacate the Chair — the lawful process to remove a Speaker who abuses power or obstructs oversight.

It takes just one line:

Resolved, That the office of Speaker of the House of Representatives is hereby declared vacant.
