Gardener of my heart

come till the soil

let nothing rot or spoil 

grow what is seasonal 

for the benefit of my soul 

uproot the weeds you find

save plants of the lasting kind

repot what needs nurturing 

sow seeds of everything 

that’s lasting, good and true
