Father God,

the sky grows dark 

while Jesus is nailed 

hard to the cross

taking our sin, our pain,

our dross, our shame

we thank you so much

that the Son of God

did it all—he took the fall

out of amazing love 

for all of us 

so we can live 

with transformed lives

and Spirit-filled hearts
