I think this is the simplest landscape I’ve ever painted. I tried to strip everything down to the essence, focusing on just shapes, values, color temperature, and a sense of space. I was looking for that point just before the painting breaks down into abstraction, but it still reads as a landscape. 🌟I’m curious how this feels to you.
