World-building isn't writing a wiki. It's revealing information through character experience.

Don't explain how the government works. Show us your character bribing an official.

Don't describe the magic system. Show us what happens when your character tries to use it and fails.

Exposition is what you tell us.

World-building is what we discover. Trust the audience to piece it together. They're smarter than you think.
