Would y’all like if I posted poems more than once a week? I’ve been pretty strictly following that for awhile now but I have many, many poems that are lined up and ready to be published—I do not want to overwhelm my followers though!
Are there people on here posting poetry and short stories? I feel like my feed is all essays and non fiction. I would like to follow more varied genres, recommendations welcome!!

Hello! I’m starting a newsletter called i am shouting. It’s not really about anything specific, just things I make and things I like, like watercolor illustrations, video games and gardening. Please accept this piece as an example and a taste of… future delights.
I have no idea what I’m doing but I hope you like it anyway!

I just got back from teaching my class and every word of it this is true, this is no exaggeration. He is writing from an American university but it is exactly the same in Canada.
The art of sharing oneself with the world—often unavoidable if your work is online—while maintaining one’s dignity and a sense of privacy is a most difficult balance to strike.

I recently read Ernest Hemingway on Writing, a collection of advice gathered from his letters and books, and I’ve paraphrased what I felt were the most important points.
This first list is general advice on being a writer and what makes good writing:
Four times, now, I have read or listened to a podcast where you all feel compelled to state your opinion about the Hunter Biden pardon. So I feel equally compelled to comment on it for a fourth time. While I don't hold a grudge, and I usually welcome your different opinions, I feel you are way, way off base on this one. As I said in another comment, you are trying to maintain the lofty ideals of norms in the most inappropriate of times. What I sense is that, being Republicans originally, or at least conservatives, you were fond enough of Biden because he had the mojo to beat Trump once. But once he couldn't do that anymore your lack of regard for him is showning through. much the same way I would feel if Reagan were in Biden's place. Now. Can we please not have to read or hear your benighted opinion on this issue anymore? Let's get on with this Administration from Hell and we can all be on the same side again.
It’s not a coincidence that women's contributions are more likely to be remembered when they fit traditional gender narratives, aligning with nurturing roles assigned to women.
