Two snow-white beauties at minus five (23 °F) on this early mornin’. White’s supposed to stand for purity, innocence, calm and peace — and Lord knows we could use a little extra of that these days.
Up front, you’ve got the motor vessel MS Schilthorn (about 140 feet long, room for 300 folks) sittin’ in the harbor of the small town of Thun (Switzerland). And in the back, the Stockhorn range rises up, with the Stockhorn peak (7,185 feet) right there in the middle like it owns the view.
That MS Schilthorn ain’t just pretty — she’s built for winter duty. She’s the only boat that keeps runnin’ from January through the end of March, even when the water level of Lake Thun drops low.
