Tender moments are dismantled immediately leaving you with a bittersweet aftertaste, followed by a joke before you’re done processing whatever just happened that made you sad
It’s nice to see deflective, emotionally constipated characters like this in the wild, and watch them regret the stupid shit they spat out before they could stop themselves
The truth is always hiding in plain sight, but it slips away before you get to fully uncover it, having you feel it without being able to name it
