Make money doing the work you believe in
Context, briefly: I sell CS2 items on CSFloat, which pays its sellers through Stripe. My account is fully KYC-verified and every previous payout arrived normally.
Two weeks ago Stripe marked a payout to my bank account as PAID. It never arrived. My bank confirms nothing was received — no credit, no pending credit, no restriction. It never went back to my CSFloat balance either. The money is simply gone.
I asked for proof of payment four times. Twice I was told to wait 5 business days. I was asked to resend ID documents Stripe already had from the KYC it approved itself. Then I was told, in writing, that NO TRACE ID EXISTS for this payout — meaning there is no evidence the transfer was ever submitted to the banking network.
Since then, one sentence on repeat: "we're investigating." Two weeks of it. No trace ID, no proof, no explanation, no deadline, nobody owning the case. CSFloat sends me to Stripe. Stripe sends me nowhere.
I'm not writing this to argue with support anymore — support has already shown it can't or won't resolve this. I'm writing it because someone at Stripe with real system access might read it, and for that person the ask is very small:
Please pull up payout po_1TyL0HPiuddXegs1ha4b5S01 and check one thing. Was it ever submitted to the network, or wasn't it? If it was, I need the trace ID. If it wasn't, I need my money back. Two minutes of someone's time is all this takes.
And it isn't only me. Several Brazilian users are describing the identical sequence — marked as paid, never credited, no proof available. When we complain to consumer protection bodies here, Stripe Brasil answers that accounts like ours belong to a different Stripe entity and are not its responsibility. So in Brazil there is, in practice, nobody to answer for any of it.
