My mom is a cultural anthropologist-although she works in the field of medical anthropology now and doesn't teach theory but we had a spirited debate about how I ended this piece--she didn't like my generalizing about postmodern philosophy infiltrating the humanities and social sciences. She also wants me to get rid of the illustrations...which I can see her point but since post-structural philosophy can be anything you want it to be (post-truth and all) I can argue that my illustrations fit the essay ;) at least that's my argument haha.
