Not everyone is called to the same role. Some people are called to guard. Some build. Some teach. Some help. Some encourage.

And some are watch(wo)men.

They notice things others don’t. They feel urgency when others feel normal. They sense when something is wrong before it is obvious.

That does not mean fear. It means awareness.

If you feel that weight, do not ignore it.

Watchmen are not meant to live in fear. They are meant to stay awake.

Lord, show me what to do with what I see.Open my eyes.Help me respond with prayer, not panic.Teach me how to stand steady without losing peace. Amen.
