Love this question! Personally, I am seeing the following three skills/capability areas emerge more this year (this is for both employees and portfolio careerists):
Proof of delivery. We know strategic thinking is table stakes; employers/businesses want evidence you can execute. What you've delivered matters more than where you sat in the org chart.
AI fluency with a point of view. Not "I've used ChatGPT." What I'm noticing is that people who can walk in with a formed opinion on how AI could work in a specific context are landing differently. It's not about being technical. It's about being thoughtful (it’s the whole judgment and discernment piece when thinking about the application of AI)
The ability to move people. Think internal selling. Change management. Storytelling. As AI handles routine work, the premium shifts to people who can get buy-in and make things happen.
