While reading Little Bosses Everywhere (by Bridget Read), I came across this cherry description of Francis Schaeffer.

You could call Francis Schaeffer a lot of things—intelligent, creative, thoughtful, culture changing—but to sum him up so lazily and in such a disposable manner as “antichoice crusader” is some of the worst writing I’ve seen. Yes, this book is making it’s point about MLMs and their connections to politics and movements and apparently the saintly left has never dipped in a toe. Social welfare and the New Deal is good, capitalism bad. Yes, yes. I get the author leans heavily left, the publisher and editors probably do to, and it doesn’t even register to them that this is the problem with their product. They are existing in their normalcy. I fully understand that to get a grasp on what’s going on with MLMs I’m just going to have to be insulted on a regular basis.

But this was just crap.
