The app for independent voices

I’m finding so many hidden gems among all the stories I’ve published on Medium, I can’t believe this content got buried! And that’s probably one of the biggest issues with Medium, when it comes to how stories are handled. To many of us writers, it would appear that no matter how great a topic or your writing is, it still ends up getting buried in a day or two, if it even gets read at all. I just posted a Substack Note containing a link to a former story on the topic of “loneliness”. As I was reviewing the story, and capturing the link, I couldn’t help but pat myself on the back at the great job I did on the appearance and functionality of the 11 min story. Yeah - I said 11 minutes, but it’s extremely fluid and easy to read. I even created an awesome Table of Contents, with links to various sections on the page. This story and it’s contents, is just another good reason why writers with stories on Medium shouldn’t totally abandon them. I urge you to go back and revisit your content. The worst case scenario is that you start to remember just how great a writer you really are. And maybe you’ll SUBSCRIBE to The Meta Fixer newsletter and start fixing some of your stories, whether they contain meta or not.
