I hang out with people and call it Discipleship. I read (some) and talk (a lot) about the Bible. I also crash bikes and lose at video games. Occasionally I teach at SWBTS or TBC as an adjunct OT professor.

Great advice for decision making!

Know What You Know

We try to eat lunch as a group on Mondays at church - it's a habit I recommend!

Several friends have lost loved ones recently, and I lot my grandmother. Through the experience I’ve come to think we could see this as a discipleship opportunity. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Grief as a Gospel Opportunity: Discipling Through Loss

I read The Problem of Pain by CS Lewis this week. This quote was great: God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks to us in our conscience, but shouts to us in our pain: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world (bold added).

One of my favorite songs from this Sunday morning at church!
