I keep coming back to small towns at night because everything feels stripped down to the essentials—just a few lights, a road, maybe a sign buzzing in the dark. There’s something honest about it. No crowds, no noise, just these quiet pockets of life still glowing after everything else shuts off. I like how the shapes simplify, how color gets weird and moody, how a single streetlight or motel sign can carry the whole scene. It’s calm but a little lonely, and that tension is what keeps pulling me back.
