There is so much in here that Mustard resonated with. Danielle absolutely nails the absolute joy of being mischievous.

In college Mustard was so mischievous so often that “Shut Up Zach” (breaking character for a second) became a catchphrase. I decided to take that phrase one step further and wrote a meta play about it.

It got performed at some point. The performance of the script was the most passive aggressive thing in college theatre history. None of their friends read the play until the night before and were quite upset with Mustard.

In hindsight Mustard wishes they dialed the play down a bit as it was essentially a character study of all their friends and how we behaved. Even with Mustard taking the piss out of themselves the entire time.

All of that said embrace the silly and chaos. Create bits. Have a running gag with your friends. Life is so much more fun being what some humans call “a silly goose.”
