actually sort of sickened by the fact that i haven’t posted any new short fiction in this calendar year of 2026. further sickened by the fact that i’m currently not writing any short fiction and have no desire to. finally, i’m nauseated to my core that i can really only hold attention (necessary) by posting on notes continuously insisting that i’m ‘working on a novel’ which is not only embarrassing but also untrue as every single time i type out a note i am categorically and obviously not working on a novel but cosplaying the novelist while actively furthering myself from finishing the novel—-
