Today’s DITL of a mom of two on maternity leave/in transition to the next big thing was a really fun one for me, while being a regular-degular day generally speaking. I’m in this moment of really appreciating this life I’m living, being grateful for all that’s good, and loving our village/community of people. So here was my day!

7:30am - get my son ready for school, pack lunch, pump

8:30am - school drop off

10am - bring my daughter to my MIL’s for a few hours

10:30am - library time at school. Read a few new favorites of ours (from Penelope Rex series + Elephant & Piggie series) gifted to my son by my mom’s cousin

11:15am - plop down at a coffee shop to work on some boring paperwork for a very exciting new thing on the horizon

11:30am - my mom texts to ask what I’m doing at said coffee shop and says her and my dad are coming to say hi while they’re out and about (I love living near them)

11:45pm - coffee chats with my parents! 🥰

1pm - pick my son up from school, drop him at my MIL’s, pick up my daughter

2:45pm - meet my parents for a walk at a nearby stroller friendly 2 mile park loop. It’s a beautiful day ourside!! Do one lap with them, one lap just with my daughter

5pm - time to pick up my son

6pm - home, feed my children

7pm - bedtime for babies

7:30pm - dinner for me, shower

8pm - hang with my husband + eat cookies. We just started Below Deck for the first time (we’re starting with Mediterranean for my bravo fans)

A full day that truly filled my cup!! 💖
