Hi, I’m Kalen and with every new follow here I realize less and less of you actually know who I am (I swear an introduction essay is coming) so, for now I figured I’d share a note to tell you that since 2019 I’ve been living on the road full time with my husband and, until last year, our miniature dachshund, Cake. 2025 was the most brutal, transformational year of my life. My dog of 16 years passed away in March and then 6 months later we lost our home and vehicle to a fire. I walked 500 miles in 32 days, slept in over 50 different beds, traveled a lot, cried a lot more and laughed my way through the absurdity of it all. My guy and I are currently living in a California mountain town eager to start the build of our 3rd road rig. And, for the first time in a really, really long time, I feel… *hopeful*
