In the elevator on the way up to my studio to record this episode, I saw an article on my phone saying another person had been shot by ICE in Minnesota. I didn't see any news stating that he had been killed. When I walked out of my office an hour later, the news was everywhere: Federal Border Patrol agents had killed a 37-year-old Minnesota man named Alex Jeffrey Pretti.

I continue to be shocked by what is happening in America today, every single day.
