KEEP THE METER RUNNING: THE TV SHOW

I cannot wait to show you what we have been working on for the past 5 months, or 4 years really, if you include the time spent thinking about this show.

Speaking of, I can’t believe it’s been nearly 4 years since we released the first episode. Before SubwayTakes, there was Keep The Meter Running. And I wanted to come back to it because I believe it’s the most important piece of work I’ve ever made.

Working class people and immigrants deserve to tell their stories to the world, and they deserve a space to just be themselves and have a good time. It doesn’t always have to be about the struggle, it can be about the celebration. Too often, we only highlight the difficulties of these lives and ignore the triumphs.

We all deserve a little piece of the American Dream. My American dream is to make this show.
