I take so many photos during the “golden hour” of the morning, but ‘s photo challenge got me really paying attention to that light this week. Sometimes the sunrise really lights up golden, but I also love the way that light lands on the trees, plants and birds. In particular, I love the way golden light will turn the feathers of black/dark colored birds gold.
Here are my entries this week - a particularly golden sunrise, gold light on a purple martin, golden light hitting the top of a field of corn, gold light on a turkey vulture’s otherwise dark feathers, golden light showing off the colors of a grackle, and last (and maybe least) I took a selfie in that warm light of the rising sun. (that light covers up a lot of flaws!)
