I was hesitant to post mine, but was compelled to do it when I posted a story from my teenage years that I have never shared publicly. It was on Lucian Truscott’s substack several days ago about the South Carolina Legislature trying to pass a law that would allow the death penalty for women who have had an abortion. It’s a difficult story and I’ve kept it private, but this death penalty thing got to me and I had to say something.
