I updated my writeup on the lawsuit by 17 AGs with two key updates:

First, parent-organized push-back is growing.

Also, I talk more about the risk of unintended consequences. This lawsuit could increase costs for schools if it prevailed.

Observers are predicting a rise in the use of IEPs, which are more costly for schools, if 504 protections go away. When schools catch onto this, you’ll be hearing from many unhappy superintendents and principals.

It’s just bad all-around.
