I used to be homophobic when I was young, so I recall how much that comes naturally to people who haven’t even tried for one second to think it through. I hope this speech reaches some people and helps them access their empathy and critical thinking.

By the way— if you encounter people whose empathy is a little rusty— immediately judging them and seeing them as inferior to you may not be the most enlightened response.
