Here’s my entry for the In The Moment photo challenge

This morning (Good Friday) here in New Zealand I was expecting to sleep in but I found myself waking early, I decided I could still catch the sunrise at the beach if I jumped up and left. I nipped outside and found it was cold, autumn is definitely on its way!

I got to the beach all layered up and I wandered — I watched people fishing, feeding gulls, swimming and walking. I watched terns waking and the sun beginning to lick the hills. What a good start to a long weekend 😊
